During city breaks in Johannesburg, voyagers are advised to start the vacation reading up on the history of the massive township of Soweto in the south west of the sprawl that is Jozi. Finally, a day trip to the UNESCO heritage site of the Cradle of Mankind will appeal to visitors' human side, and a trip to the Johannesburg Zoo is a great option to see some of the "'big five" if travelers don't have the opportunity to head to the Kruger National Park during their vacation.
